How We Play

At Enchanted Play we believe in the magic of learning through play and exploration. Our theme based curriculum provides opportunities for children to expand on ideas shared by both teachers and children. Teachers will provide themes inspired by the children. By creating a framework around each theme, teachers encourage an organic flow for learning and new experiences. This approach to learning, also known as emergent curriculum, gives children the opportunity to change and shift the curriculum as they become inspired by new aspects of each theme. The teacher’s role is to encourage the inquisitive nature of the children in the classroom by incorporating fascinating new discoveries into the daily curriculum. Through individual and group play the children will be given opportunities to explore math, science, language arts, creative arts, dramatic play, music and the great outdoors.
